Gymini - a native iOS training companion I designed and built in Swift. First open through the flows people actually keep - not a grid of pretty screens.

Goal - make technique feel simple. Pose tracking and biomechanics stay under the hood. The person in front of the camera just works out.

I led UI/UX and the Swift build: home, session, and a Vision-powered form pass paired with Gemini for feedback that reads as coaching, not a lab demo.

Product

The first minute has to prove the app belongs on the home screen. Home shows what to do next. A session starts without a tutorial. Empty, permission, and offline states are part of the path - not leftovers.

Three screens carry the habit: the open, the workout, the form check.

Form analysis

Vision reads the pose. Gemini turns it into a note the person can use on the next set.

The chrome stays quiet so the session still feels like a workout - not a diagnostics dashboard.

Process

Designed and built in Swift as one piece - layout, motion, camera permissions, and the empty states a training app actually lives in. What you approve in the flow is what lands on the device. No handoff file, no 'the developer will figure out the keyboard'.
